Sarah now lives in western Massachusetts after a few years living and working in and around New Orleans, LA. She majored in Anthropology with a double minor in French and Studio Art, from Tulane University.
She initially discovered photography in high school when a teacher handed her a 35mm film camera, and a camera hasn't left her hands since. From there she explored different film formats including medium format, but soon ventured into digital work. She continues to try and find ways to incorporate aspects from both film and digital and experiments in ways to physically manipulate prints in both areas. Her usual photographic imagery focuses on portraiture but she still enjoys landscape photography.
